I had the pleasure of covering a bachelorette party this past weekend. Our ladies convened at the NOLa Made gallery on Toulouse st. , a perfect location for events and small parties, and then continued into the French Quarter.

Beauty at Benachi House- New Orleans
I had the wonderful opportunity to casually shoot 2nd yesterday for a cute couple who held their wedding ceremony and reception at the beautiful Benachi House located on Esplanade in New Orleans. The location and accommodations were so pretty and as I always promise - it didn't rain!

Southern Decadence- Shots from the streets of New Orleans
Southern decadence was this weekend in New Orleans and though the weather made every attempt to keep people off the streets- there was no stopping this party! (much like any other party in NO.)
Maggie and I didn't miss the chance to meet some friends and catch a Sunday afternoon Parade!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of covering the reception for the beautiful union of Michael and Ryan. They're family and guests were such wonderful and entertaining subjects and the location and food were amazing.
Michael and Ryan chose the rehabbed raw industrial space at Ravenswood Event Center located at Ravenswood and Irving park in Chicago. The main event space was once a boiler room and the walls and floor are rustic and raw. The lighting was warm and inviting, as was the stellar live music.
Everyone had a wonderful time and DANCED till they pulled the plug out the wall!
