What do you do when you get stuck in a nearly abandoned LaGuardia airport over night?
I occasionally get to make it to New York for in studio work with some of my more prestigious clients. After a long day of shooting in the beautiful studio 2 Stops Brighter located in Mid-town Manhattan for one of my favorite lingerie clients, I rush to the airport - which means sitting in traffic for MILES- only to miss my flight by mere minutes.
HOW AND WHY there is STILL no train to the airport boggles my mind! LaGuardia is one of the oldest airports in America!
SO ... they tried to get me on the next (last) flight out- no go.
What follows is 20 hours of sleep deprived delirium
...At some point I thought it would be a good idea to wander around the airport and photo myself. There was nearly no one in the building- save for a few lonely souls in the food court.
I used a remote trigger and placed my camera on top of a rolling pelican case to use as a tripod (b/c that was in a checked bag).
